In line with our mission, Kawefunmi Secondary School aims at helping
individual students to discover and develop their talents and use
them for the benefit of others. At Kawefunmi Secondary School, students
are guided to forbear one another eschewing all forms of malice, hatred,
selfishness e.t.c.
This we believe will equip the students to take up responsible
position in life.
Generally our activities and programs are tailored to suit the contents
of our mission.
SAFETY
We all know that the bedrock of every human activity is SAFETY.
It is for this reason that At Kawefunmi Secondary School holds safety
in high esteem, teaches it and ensures that it forms the integral
parts of each students. This premium put on safety makes the students
have foresight of anything they want to do. This awakes their spirit
of caution as to how they interact with others.
ACADEMICS
Our edge in imparting academic knowledge to students is the cream
of seasoned and experienced teachers both local and international
and the interactive approach to teaching and learning. Each teacher
specializes in his/ her subject area and uses variety of approaches
to impact knowledge.
SPORTS
That sport is a unique unifying factor, in our present world, cannot
be gainsaid. To this end we give equal attention to sports in the
school to create the enabling environment for sports the school
has constructed a standard football/ athletics field, basketball
and volleyball courts and also a table tennis facilities. The enthusiasm
derived in sporting activities enhances the students performances
in other aspects of school live.
MUSIC/ ART
We do not lose sight of the fact that Music and Arts are universal
languages.
Nature, we believe is full of music and Art Kawefunmi Secondary
School has a music studio with a variety of musical instruments
to unearth the talent in each student.
The level of performance is so irresistible that parents cannot
